Topic: “Building Community: Skill Development and Mentorship for Promoting Positive Outcomes                        Among Latino Children"

  1. Establish current challenges Latino students face in attaining academic and social success.

  2. Present that teaching foundational skills like leadership, finance, wellness, and civic engagement, positively impacts the ability to be successful.

  3. Demonstrate that community involvement and culturally-tailored programs are crucial topromoting positive socialization and development among Latino adolescents in the United States.
